Micha Hurley, LM CPM has been working in the medical field for over 14 years.
She worked as a phlebotomist for a while before deciding to go back to school for
Occupational Science. With that she became a Medical Assistant for 10 years
working in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and even a trauma
center. In 2018 Micha began doula work that ultimately led her into her midwifery
apprenticeship which began in February of 2019. She studied as an apprentice in
the Portfolio Evaluation Process and obtained her CPM through the North
American Registered Midwives in the summer of 2022. She received her LM
certificate for the State of Arizona in October of 2022. In 2022 she also completed
a Breech Training and Birth Emergencies Skills Training. She continues to expand
her knowledge as a practicing midwife, is currently learning to grow herbs, make
herbal tinctures, and slowly becoming a hippie. She believes that all women
should feel supported, empowered, and educated in their pregnancy, labor and
birth.
